State Department Issues Travel Warning

Global COVID-19 risks prevent safe international travel.

On Monday the State Department announced that it would be expanding travel advisories for Americans seeking to travel internationally. According to the Department, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic poses “unprecedented risks” around the world. The restrictions apply to roughly 80% of countries worldwide. The official guidelines are expected to be released next week.

The State Department said that it would update guidelines based on the most up-to-date information it has. In a statement, the Department also said, “As always, we are closely monitoring conditions around the globe, and will regularly update our destination-specific advice to U.S. travelers as conditions evolve.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to protect the United States from further variants of the virus.
  • For wisdom for the State Department as they set travel guidelines and restrictions.
  • That the CDC would gather the most accurate and up-to-date information.
