Former Vice President Mondale Passes Away

Presidents Carter and Biden remember his legacy.

On Monday, former Vice President and Senator Walter (Fritz) Mondale passed away at the age of 93 years old. VP Mondale served in the Carter administration. Former President Carter said that he was “the best vice president in our country’s history. Fritz Mondale provided us all with a model for public service and private behavior.”

Prior to his passing, he reached out to his former staff thanking them for the work that they had accomplished together. He also said his final goodbyes to Presidents Biden and Carter. President Biden sent his condolences to the family of Walter Mondale and praised him for his example as Vice President. President Biden said, “It was Walter Mondale who defined the vice presidency as a full partnership, and helped provide a model for my service.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would comfort Walter Mondale’s loved ones.
  • For those who serve in the federal government to be drawn closer to the Lord.
