Veterans Affairs Reports 100k New Veteran Sign Ups After Health Care Improvements

Various improvements such as improved facilities and care access attributed to the influx in applicants.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced the enrollment of 100,000 new veterans into the VA healthcare network since the beginning of 2026. This is the fastest rate of enrollment by March 31st in six of the last seven years.

The improvements that the VA associated with the boost in enrollment numbers include the addition of 34 healthcare facilities and streamlining the VA benefit enrollment backlog. The VA also pointed to flexible appointment scheduling, expanded access to direct care, and the housing of almost 52,000 veterans in 2025.

Secretary Doug Collins said, “We have transformed VA from a bureaucratic organization to a service organization, where Veterans come first in everything we do. These enrollment numbers are proof that Veterans are responding to the historic improvements we are making under President Trump.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Collins to continue leading the VA toward increased improvements and access to care for those who served our country.
  • For VA officials involved in providing and expanding healthcare to veterans.
