Health Officials Warn of Vaccine Shortages

Supply and production is lagging behind the demand.

American health experts warned that the nation might experience vaccine shortages in the coming days due to the ambitious efforts of the federal distribution plan. Nearly 54 million people fall into the category of phase two distribution, including those over the age of 65 and essential workers. Experts added that supply and vaccine production is still lagging behind.

Health authorities in California, Florida, Hawaii, and West Virginia have all reported shortages of the vaccine, and have signaled that they could run out soon. President Joe Biden signed several executive orders on Friday in an effort to allocate additional federal resources to meet the need, saying, “We’ll move heaven and earth to get more people vaccinated for free.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would be at work through the federal government and vaccine production companies as they work to meet the needs of the nation.
  • For God to bring healing and hope to Americans.
  • For leaders in the Department of Health and Human Services as they work to roll out the vaccine to as many people as quickly as possible.
