Vice President Pence Speaks at Convention

Cautions of America under former Vice President Biden.

Vice President Mike Pence spoke at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday to share his support for President Trump and call on voters to reelect them both in November. His speech largely leveraged his belief that Joe Biden’s America would be a dark and dangerous place, but that President Trump’s America would be an America worth living in.

Ending his remarks, the Vice President paraphrased from a passage in the book of Hebrews, replacing the name of Jesus with “Old Glory.” He said, “So let’s run the race marked out for us. Let’s fix our eyes on Old Glory and all she represents. Let’s fix our eyes on this land of heroes and let their courage inspire.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to use the Vice President to show Americans God’s truth.
  • For God to guide President Trump in his decisions and actions.
  • That God would move in the hearts of Americans to choose the best leader for the nation.
