President Trump Accepts Republican Nomination

Expresses his admiration for America and its people.

On Thursday night, President Trump concluded the Republican National Convention with his acceptance speech – officially making him the Republican nominee for the 2020 election. Surrounded by his family and cabinet members in front of the White House, the president set forth his appeal to Americans to vote for him in November.

President Trump recapped the successes of his administration’s policies and also decried the political legacy of his opponent, Vice President Biden, stating, “We have spent the last four years reversing the damage Joe Biden inflicted over the last 47 years.” The president pointed to the social and political unrest around the country as signs of what a Biden presidency would look like.

The president concluded that in the next four years “we will reach stunning new heights, and we will show the world that for America there is a dream, and it is not beyond your reach. Together, we are unstoppable. Together, we are unbeatable. Because together, we are the proud citizens of the United States of America… We will make America safer. We will make America stronger. We will make America prouder. And we will make America greater than ever before.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to lead the president in how best to lead as the election draws nearer.
  • For God to lead the American people as they vote in November.
  • For the president’s administration to be used by God to bring peace to the nation.
