State Department Deports Haitians Who Support Gang Leaders

Supporters of terrorist organizations are subjection to deportation regardless of permanent resident status.

This week, the State Department announced the deportation of certain Haitian nationals who hold green cards that have supported the gangs and gang leaders currently in control of Haiti.

A group of Haitian gangs came together to form a coalition called Viv Ansanm in 2023, which went on to target critical infrastructure, governmental buildings, and civilian neighborhoods to take control of the Caribbean country’s capital city, Port-au-Prince. The State Department designated this gang coalition as a Foreign Terrorist Organization this past May, calling it “a primary source of instability and violence in Haiti.”

“The United States will not allow individuals to enjoy the benefits of legal status in our country while they are facilitating the actions of violent organizations or supporting criminal terrorist organizations,” said Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Rubio and State Department officials as they implement restrictions on lawful permanent U.S. residency.
  • For President Trump and DHS Secretary Noem to seek God’s wisdom concerning deportation efforts.
