The regime responded after President Trump told both sides to “stop shooting.”
Iran launches roughly 20 missiles into Israel later Sunday after Israelis conducted a strike against Hezbollah in Beirut, Lebanon. Iran has considered the conflict between its proxy Hezbollah and Israel to be part of the regime’s ceasefire with the United States.
President Donald Trump stated early Monday, “Israel and Iran must immediately stop ‘shooting.'”
The Iranian regime announced it would halt missile strikes and would stand down military operations.
“Both sides, Israel and Iran, are looking to do an immediate CEASEFIRE! Final negotiations on ‘Peace’ are proceeding, subject to ignorance or stupidity getting in its way,” President Trump stated later on Monday. “The Blockade will remain in place, and in full force and effect, until a ‘Final Deal’ is reached. Things should move quickly.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for President Trump and members of his adminstration as they seek to negotiate the ceasefire with Iran.
- For the president and Cabinet officials to look to the Lord for guidance in their actions and decisions.
