Your Refuge
It may be tempting to shake your head over the goings on in today’s world. It certainly seems that the devil, the liar who is an author of confusion (John 8:44; 1 Corinthians 14:33), is working overtime to influence modern society and culture. How do you respond to the conflict and division? You can make a conscious daily decision to put on the armor that God has provided to defend your heart and mind from wickedness (Ephesians 6:10-18). Look to the Lord in times of distress and discord, and receive His peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and accept the refuge He provides. Have faith and be confident, for you know Who has ultimately won this battle.
