OPM Launches Site to Modernize Workforce Data Access

Launch of new system promises frequent updates and increased transparency.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) announced the launch of the Federal Workforce Data (FWD), a website set to replace the antiquated FedScope system. This new system will provide interactive visuals, downloadable datasets, and enhanced transparency.

The FWD site will also increase publicly available federal workforce information, including data on retirement, remote work, administrative leave, performance rating, and hiring activity.

“The Federal Workforce Data website delivers timely, transparent data in a format that is easy to use and built for the future. This is a major step forward for accountability and data-driven decision-making across government.” OPM Director Scott Kupor said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Director Kupor as he oversees the launch of the Federal Workforce Data site.
  • For OPM officials as they work to create a smooth transition between FedScope and the FWD site.
  • For U.S. technology and cybersecurity officials as they seek to ensure the security of federal government information.
