Vice President Vance also recently launched an anti-fraud pledge.
President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance announced a new $25 million Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program (WHIP) this week, urging the public to report suspected fraud in the federal government. The White House said that the Justice Department will administer the program, under which individuals who submit a tip to fraud.gov leading to conviction or significant federal enforcement may receive up to $30,000.
Vice President JD Vance also recently announced an anti-fraud pledge as the head of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. The six-point pledge seeks to protect vulnerable Americans, restrict benefits to eligible recipients, prevent fraudulent purchases, and strengthen cooperation between government agencies.”I’m calling on every member of Congress, as well as local and statewide officials, and anyone seeking public office, to rise to the occasion,” the vice president stated.
Using data from 2018 through 2022, the Government Accountability Office estimated annual fraud losses between $233 billion and $521 billion.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Vice President Vance as he heads the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud and implements incentives to encourage fraud reporting.
- For President Trump as he seeks ways to ensure federal benefits reach only the eligible U.S. citizens for whom they are designated.
