He stated, “Whoever wins AI wins.”
President Donald Trump addressed growing concerns being voiced about artificial intelligence and the resistance to data centers being developed across the nation.
The president said during his trip to Ireland over the weekend, “We’re leading China in AI, we’re the most sophisticated country in the world. And frankly, I want to keep it that way because whoever wins AI, wins.”
“And we can put guardrails; we can do this and that,” President Trump added. He said that “a lot of negative voices“ are “bringing up things that won’t happen.“
The CEO of Anthropic released an essay this past weekend, claiming that AI developers could lose control of AI systems, recommending that developers “pace“ technoligical development.
On Monday, the president stated on Truth Social that the U.S. already has “tremendous criminal and regulatory power over [AI] companies.“ He called the opposition to AI and data centers a “sick conspiracy“ that makes China happy.
President Trump stated, “We are leading China, and all others, and will continue to do so.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
