White House Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is conducting an investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar for possible immigration fraud.
Mr. Homan said, “If someone committed [an] immigration violation and someone committed marriage fraud or anything like that, regardless if they’re a congresswoman or not, no one’s above the law, so I’ll leave it at that. We’ll let HSI, Homeland Security Investigations, continue the investigation.”
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin recently said, “We know that she married her brother to try to bring him into the United States. There may be more to this, possibly some illegal activity.”
He explained, “When we move forward it’s not political it’s because you chose to break the nation’s laws. I don’t make the law anymore, I’m in charge of enforcing the laws. I will not pick and choose which laws to enforce and which I’m not. We are going to enforce all of them regardless of who you are.”
