Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Daryl Caudle spoke about the Trump-class battleship and the design features it will share with aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, including a nuclear reactor, steam generator, and reactor cooling pump components. Admiral Caudle told a House committee, “All of that technology that’s going into the design of the battleship… is all pull-through technology from the Ford class, as are most of the combat systems, radar system, missile system.”
Pray for Secretary Hegseth, Admiral Caudle, and the leadership of the U.S. Navy as they develop new military vessels and equipment.
Pray for America’s Foreign Relations
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that he wants to see changes in the relationship between Israel and the United States, specifically to end reliance on American military aid and financial support. The prime minister said, “It’s time we weaned ourselves from the remaining military support.“
After Russia and Ukraine agreed to a recent three-day ceasefire, President Vladimir Putin said that the special military operation in Ukraine is “coming to an end.” He said he would consider meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy outside of Russia.
Pray for President Trump as he meets with President Xi and discusses global conflicts and concerns.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning regarding wastewater coming from Tijuana that is impacting San Diego and other Southern California coastal areas. Beaches have been affected and waters have been closed due to health hazards, including respiratory problems and other illnesses linked to the sewage pollution. The Environmental Protection Agency issued a list of the work that needs to be done to address the overwhelmed Mexico-side wastewater plants.
Pray for Acting Director Bhattacharya and CDC officials as they track the flow of sewage pollution and seek to protect the U.S. from related illnesses.
Pray for Needs Across the States
Attorneys from the state of Louisiana have filed a brief requesting that the U.S. Supreme Court reinstate the nationwide block of mail-order abortion drugs that the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals had implemented. Louisiana said that allowing mifepristone to be dispensed via telehealth, rather than in person, circumvents state laws restricting abortion. Twenty-three states have filed a legal brief with the Supreme Court in support of Louisiana’s effort.
The majority party in Virginia has appealed the state supreme court’s ruling against the redistricting effort, that was recently passed by voters, to the U.S. Supreme Court. The state’s high court determined that the legislature violated the state constitution in its effort to get the new congressional map on the ballot. Legal experts say that the federal high court typically defers to states on the interpretation of their laws and constitutions.
Pray for governors, legislators, attorneys general, and secretaries of state as they seek to address their states’ needs and issues.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“You know, people look everywhere for God, and today it seems like there’s a more intense search than there’s ever been. Throughout history, they have looked everywhere for God—in nature, in legend, in gurus, and sometimes even within themselves. But you know what the answer is? God has revealed Himself in a book and that book is called the Scripture. It is the word of the Lord, straight from the heart of God to us.
And it’s available to us in many translations and in many ways if we will seek the word of God. We will find God because that’s the reason the Bible exists—to reveal God to us as we read its pages. …
Down through the centuries, the Bible has always been something that has been hated and scorned. It is something that has created a great deal of opposition and men have gone out of their way to try to abolish it. … Emperors have demanded the destruction of the Bible. Church leaders have placed their superstitious traditions over it. Smart seminary professors have written it off as being beneath their sophisticated scholarship. But the Bible defiantly, victoriously, convincingly still stands. The Bible’s pages continue to tell the grace of God, and the message remains the only inerrant, infallible, complete revelation that man has ever gotten from his living God.“ – Dr. David Jeremiah, Turning Point, May 2026
