Assistant Attorney General Warns Violent Demonstrators

A woman in Florida was arrested after punching a State trooper.

Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon issued a warning to activists who attack law enforcement after a woman from Jacksonville, Florida, punched a State Trooper.

The assistant AG stated, “Don’t punch or threaten law enforcement. The First Amendment does not protect these actions, and they are very unwise and may lead to your incarceration.”

Governor Ron DeSantis stated, “You have a right to go out there and criticize government policy. You can go out there and protest within respected zones, but the idea that you’re going to assault one of our troopers is unacceptable, and you are going to face consequences as a result of that.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Assistant Attorney General Dhillon as she seeks to educate demonstrators and activist on the limits of civil rights.
  • For state governors, mayors, and law enforcement officers as they seek to uphold law and order.
