ICE Raids California Cannabis Farm and Arrests Hundreds of Migrant Criminals

Agents also “rescued at least 14 migrant children from what looks like exploitation, forced child labor, and potentially human trafficking.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents raided two of the largest cannabis farms in Southern California last week, arresting 10 illegal immigrants working there, rescuing over a dozen minors, some of whom were unaccompanied. Two local immigrant advocacy groups issued alerts to the town’s citizens, urging them to arrive on the scene in person. Protestors turned out to demonstrate against the raid, and some of the activists attacked federal agents.

“Federal agents are executing a search warrant at this marijuana farm,” U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli stated. “Agents have already arrested multiple individuals for impeding this operation and will continue to make arrests. Don’t interfere. You will be arrested and charged with a federal offense.”

Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin said that several of the migrants arrested had “heinous rap sheets, including kidnapping, child molestation, rape, serial burglary, hit and runs.”

“These are people that should not be in our communities illegally, much less around innocent children,” she added. ICE and Border Patrol agents “rescued at least 14 migrant children from what looks like exploitation, forced child labor, and potentially human trafficking or smuggling while facing assault and even gunfire.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the protection of ICE and other federal agents as they conduct immigration enforcement operations.
  • For wisdom for DHS Secretary Noem and Acting ICE Director Lyons as they oversee the immigration enforcement efforts.
