DOT Launches Online Portal for Small Business Investments

The database is intended to connect private investors with disadvantaged companies.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) has launched an online database dedicated to connecting small businesses to potential investors. The “Connect to Capital“ portal allows small businesses and private capital investors to search for each other, listing companies designated as small disadvantaged businesses and investors licensed by the Small Business Administration.

“U.S. DOT Connect to Capital provides users with a comprehensive platform to help small and disadvantaged businesses grow through private equity,” said Tyra Redus, the acting administrator of the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization. “It is a mutually beneficial resource for small businesses and for investors because of its national scope which decreases barriers to information on both sides and facilitates direct interaction.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Buttigieg to be discerning as he heads the Transportation Department.
  • For Acting Administrator Redus as she collaborates on the support of and investment in small businesses.
