Truck Convoy Heads to Protest in Border States

The “Take Our Border Back” convoy left Virginia bound for Arizona, California, and Texas.

A truck convoy is on its way to protest the open border policies of President Biden’s administration along the U.S.-Mexico border. The “Take Our Border Back“ convoy left Virginia Beach, Virginia, earlier this week and intends to hold rallies in Quemado, Texas; Yuma, Arizona; and San Ysidro, California.

The group stated its goal is to “send a message to all city, state, federal politicians and immigration officials.” The convoy extended an invitation weeks ago to active and retired law enforcement and military veterans, elected officials, business owners, ranchers, truckers, bikers, and other “law-abiding, freedom-loving Americans.”

Some organizers have referred to the convoy as “God’s army.“

U.S. Representative Keith Self of Texas, who has promoted the convoy, estimated that in the three years of President Biden’s administration, 8 million illegal migrants have entered the country. “This is the time for us to rise up as the American people and demand that our president do his job,” he said.

Congressman Self stated, “The time is now for We the People to peacefully assemble in honor of our constitutional rights to call on our government to take action and secure our borders.” He said that up to 700,000 vehicles may potentially participate in the convoy.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Representative Self and other U.S. legislators who are concerned about border security.
  • For the president and his border security and immigration advisors to enforce federal laws and safeguard national security.
