Thursday, February 1

Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to Michigan for a campaign event. The state’s presidential primary election will be held in late February.

The president will attend an event in the Detroit area hosted by the United Auto Workers, the labor union that recently endorsed his campaign for reelection. President Biden last visited Michigan in September, joining picketers during the union strike against the three major U.S. automakers.

After the union’s endorsement at the National Community Action Program Conference in Washington, D.C., the president said, “I’m proud that you have my back. Let me just say I’m honored to have your back and you have mine.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the safety of the president and his staff as they fly to Michigan.
  • For agents of the Secret Service as they protect the president, former presidents, and current presidential candidates.
  • For the president and administration officials as they support and promote organized labor.
