Senate Foreign Relations Committee to Unveil Resolution for Israel’s Support

A bipartisan effort is likely to pass this week.

The chairman and ranking members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee announced that they will introduce a resolution to support Israel once the Senate reconvenes this week. Members of the Senate have expressed strong personal support for Israel in the wake of terrorist attacks against the country, and will likely pass the resolution without much resistance.

“Hamas is a terrorist organization and its brazen acts of terrorism against civilians must be met with a united response that strongly underscores America’s unwavering support for the people of Israel,” chairman and Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland stated. “The U.S. Congress is unified in working to support our ally, and to send a clear message to the world that terrorism against innocents will not be tolerated.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for members of the Senate Committee as they craft the resolution in support of Israel.
  • For members of the Senate as they consider and vote on the measure supporting Israel.
  • For the leaders and people of Israel as they fight against the terrorists and the regimes that support them.
