I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. – 3: John 1:4

Raising children is a challenging endeavor. God uses analogies regarding the rearing of children to depict many aspects of His kingdom. While the majority of parents will not raise children who will hold positions of prominence, such as presidents or chief executive officers, it is vital to recognize the impact that people of faith have in the world, whether they become pastors, schoolteachers, garbage truck drivers, or receptionists. No matter what children grow up to do for a living, the joy that comes from a son or daughter following Jesus is like no other. If you have children or grandchildren, nieces or nephews who have gone their own way, regardless of how long it has been, continue to pray in faith, believing in the Lord’s ability to bring them to Himself. The Lord is good, His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations (Psalm 100:5).

As the Lord leads, pray with us…
