Power in the Name of Jesus
The worship song says, “There is power in the Name of Jesus.” His Name brings salvation (Matthew 1:21), His Name works miracles (Mark 9:39). His Name brings healing and casts out demons (Mark 16:17-18). His Name brings answers to prayer (John 14:13). His Name is the source of life (John 20:31). There is no limit to the power of the Name of Jesus. Let His Name be on your lips and in your heart. Call upon Him in every need. Do not allow anyone to corrupt His Name in your presence, but lovingly correct them, for one day at the Name of Jesus every knee is going to bow (Philippians 2:10). Seek to please Him daily with whatever you do, in word or deed, do it in the Name that is above every other name, the Name of Jesus (Colossians 3:17).
