Incoming Legislators Arrive at Capitol

Some House seat races have not yet been decided.

The freshman class of the 118th Congress arrived in Washington Sunday for a week of orientation. They met with their respective party leaders in both the House and Senate and will engage with caucuses as the week progresses.

In some states, ballots for some districts are still being counted. The leadership of the new Congress to be sworn-in in January remains uncertain as the contests for some seats remain tight.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the newly elected members of the House and Senate as they become oriented with their positions.
  • For the election officials who are overseeing the tabulation of the remaining ballots in close races.
  • For the Lord’s will to be accomplished through the 118th Congress.
