State Department Evacuating Ukrainian Child Cancer Patients

Spokesman Price says an airlift from Poland will transport patients to St. Jude.

The State Department has announced that they are helping evacuate four pediatric cancer patients from Ukraine to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in the United States. They will provide airlift operations for the patients and their families to transport them from Poland to Memphis, Tennessee, then will move them from there to St. Jude’s hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

“Our partnership with, and commitment to, the people of Ukraine is steadfast and enduring,” State Department spokesperson Ned Price stated Tuesday. “To that end, the Department of State has coordinated with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to provide necessary life-saving and immediate care to four Ukrainian children whose ongoing cancer treatment was disrupted by President Putin’s war of choice.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary of State Blinken to seek God’s wisdom as he oversees diplomatic efforts.
  • For State Department officials as they assist in the relocation of the cancer patients from Ukraine.
  • For safe flights for the sick children as they are airlifted to the U.S.
