President Gives Statement on America Recycles Day

Pairs announcement with National Recycling Strategy.

President Biden gave a proclamation on Friday from the White House Briefing Room for America Recycles Day on November 15. He incorporated the goals of this day of awareness into his administration’s overall goal to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, highlighting recycling’s role in decreasing both pollution and greenhouse gases.

“As we continue to pursue bold action to tackle climate change, we can all do our part to create a more sustainable future by making simple changes in our own lives,” President Biden stated. “Today and every day, we reaffirm our commitment to preserving our precious resources and creating a healthier, cleaner, more just world for our children and future generations.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Biden as he projects a present and future vision for the United States.
  • For U.S. officials implementing the approved infrastructure bill and that the solutions are practical.
  • For Americans to gain awareness on America Recycles Day and potentially increase material stewardship.
