Interior Holds Virtual Clean Energy Summit

Looking for new projects to promote renewable energy.

Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland hosted a virtual summit last week with several American business leaders to discuss the future of clean energy. The Interior Department has been directed by President Biden to increase the nation’s percentage of renewable energy sources. The summit allowed for a dialog between the Interior Department and leaders of companies advancing clean energy solutions.

During the meeting, Secretary Haaland encouraged the leaders to put forward new projects and solutions to the Department in order to reduce the effects of climate change. According to the Interior Department, projects should be “incorporating the latest scientific research, traditional knowledge, and public input was critical to these efforts.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Interior Department personnel to be good stewards of God’s creation.
  • For Secretary Haaland to seek the Lord as to the best energy solutions.
  • For the president and his administration as they pursue clean energy goals.
