President Biden Nears End of First 100 Days in Office

Will address joint session of Congress on Wednesday.

This week, President Joe Biden will pass a milestone of his presidency – his first 100 days in office. The president will address a joint session of Congress on Wednesday to reflect on his accomplishments and future vision for his term. In a letter sent to the White House, Speaker Pelosi asked the president to “share your vision for addressing the challenges and opportunities of this historic moment.”

President Biden is expected to celebrate the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, where his administration surpassed the initial goal of 100 million doses and met the expanded 200 million goal. Members of Congress will likely encourage the president to speak to areas where his administration is facing pressure, including his handling of the number of asylum seekers at the southern border, and progress on addressing racial justice issues.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to accomplish His purpose as the president addresses the joint session of Congress.
  • That President Biden would seek God’s wisdom as his administration seeks to improve the United States.
  • That God would help the White House work with Congress to pass the best legislation for the country.
