President Biden Honors Prince Philip

Pledges to keep royal family in his heart during this time of grieving.

Early Friday morning, Americans learned Prince Philip, the longest-serving royal consort in British history, had passed away. He lived to the age of 99 years. Throughout his life, he served on over 800 charitable foundations and served in the British Navy during World War II. Around the world, political leaders sent their condolences to the royal family and the citizens of the United Kingdom.

President Biden memorialized Prince Philip, stating, “Prince Philip’s legacy will live on not only through his family, but in all the charitable endeavors he shaped. Jill and I are keeping the Queen and Prince Philip’s children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the people of the United Kingdom in our hearts during this time.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would be near to the royal family during this time of grief.
  • That President Biden would seek God’s guidance as he builds relationships with foreign leaders.
