Interior Announces Projects Funded by Appropriations Act

Omnibus spending bill provides for conservation efforts.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 was signed by President Trump earlier this week. The COVID relief omnibus bill provides $1.4 trillion for the next fiscal year, funding a host of initiatives during the pandemic. A portion of the massive bill went toward continuing the Department of the Interior’s year-round land and wildlife conservation efforts.

Secretary of the Interior David L. Bernhardt commented on the passage of the bill, “Everyday President Trump fights for the American people. His leadership in securing this significant budget uplifts American families, strengthens our economy, invests in our infrastructure and enhances key conservation initiatives.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the Department of the Interior as they care for the Lord’s creation.
  • For Congress as the intricacies of this newly-passed bill are settled.
  • That President Trump would be led by God in his decisions and actions.
