Labor Department Issues Workplace Guidance

New Field Assistance Bulletins clarifies email and video call use to support workplace flexibility.

With many American jobs continuing to work remotely into 2021, the Labor Department updated their guidances for businesses to better reflect the electronic nature of working from home. Two new Field Assistance Bulletins have been released outlining the acceptance of telemedicine and the electronic issuance of statutory rights.

“The guidance issued today reflects our ongoing commitment to provide the workforce critical information about flexibilities that allow employers and employees to better navigate the uncharted waters brought on by the coronavirus’ effects on the workplace,” said Wage and Hour Division Administrator Cheryl Stanton.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the Labor Department in their considerations of unforeseen logistics and procedures.
  • That the Wage and Hour Division would be discerning in their efforts.
  • That President Trump’s provisions for the American worker would be effective and beneficial.
