Advisory Panel Selects Recipients for Next Round of Vaccines

Essential workers and those over 75 next to receive vaccine.

On Sunday, a federal advisory panel released its recommendation for the people who should be the next in line to received the recently approved and rolled out COVID-19 vaccine. Healthcare workers and those at high risk were among the first to receive the life-saving vaccine, and now frontline workers and those over the age of 75 have been selected to receive treatment.

Essential workers have been defined as police and firefighters, teachers and other school staff, those working in the food industry, agricultural workers, manufacturing workers, grocery store workers, and members of the U.S. Postal Service. There is not currently a projection on when these people will receive the vaccine and open access to more Americans.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would help Americans recover from the pandemic.
  • For the Lord to guide the Department of Health and Human Services to improve Americans’ health outcomes.
  • That God would guide the president’s administration in distributing the vaccines.
