President Trump Warns of Trouble with Mail-in Ballots

He says it is a greater risk than foreign interference.

President Trump warned again this week that the upcoming November election could be corrupted due to large-scale mail-in voting initiatives around the country. In a speech given at a news conference at the White House, President Trump stated that these measures were the “biggest threat to this election.”

The president has encouraged absentee ballots that voters request for themselves versus the mail-in ballots that officials send to all registered voters. The concern is that ballots that are not requested by the voter may not reach the right person and could be submitted fraudulently.

President Trump said the mail-in ballots will be a disaster for the country and they will cause problems with the election. He also disputed concerns that have been raised about foreign interference, saying that past claims “turned out to be untrue.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would safeguard the upcoming election and the outcome would reflect the will of the people.
  • For God to guide the president’s administration through the challenges it faces.
  • For U.S. governing officials to preserve and protect the election process and record the ballots accurately.
