Interior Announces Wetland Conservation Projects

Over $130 Million in funding apportioned.

The Department of the Interior announced this week that over $130 million dollars had been set aside for wetland conservation across the United States. The Migratory Bird Conservation Commission is chaired by Interior Secretary Bernhardt and will oversee funding local initiatives to help waterfowl and other birds to have restored wetland habitats in the next year.

Secretary Bernhardt stressed that “The Trump Administration continues to take significant conservation actions benefiting all Americans, particularly hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. It has never been more important than now that we conserve our great outdoors and expand public access to public land.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to guide the Interior Department in caring for His creation.
  • For God to help Secretary Bernhardt lead the Interior Department well.
  • For President Trump’s Administration to bring about important environmental protections.
