Monument Taskforce Holds Second Meeting

Taskforce moving quickly to carry out Administration’s order to protect monuments.

On Monday, the Task Force for Building and Rebuilding Monuments to American Heroes had its second meeting in Washington. Led by Secretary Bernhardt and Director Charles Laudner, the meeting focused on carrying out the president’s directive to safeguard national monuments or federal buildings from those who would seek to deface or destroy them.

Secretary of the Interior David L. Bernhardt said of the meeting “With just one month to go before we must submit our report to the President, I am happy to announce that site visits for the National Garden are well underway, discussions regarding the restoration of damaged statues of American heroes are productive and the Task Force is actively reviewing statues for temporary display.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would guide Secretary Bernhardt to preserve the history of our nation.
  • For the Lord to lead Director Laudner to lead the taskforce effectively.
  • That the Trump Administration would carry out the will of the people in its actions.
