Dr. Fauci Speaks Before Congress

Expresses hope for vaccine soon.

Late last week, Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, spoke before a House Panel dedicated to reviewing the nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. During his remarks, Dr. Fauci expressed that he was cautiously optimistic that the nation was heading in the right direction for recovery.

Dr. Fauci also showed signs that a vaccine for COVID-19 could likely be expected within the next year, and that all Americans would be able to receive it “over a period of time in 2021.” The director also expressed that he would recommend a phased approach to give people the vaccine to ensure that the most vulnerable populations would be at the front of the line.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would use Dr. Fauci to overcome the pandemic.
  • For God to have scientists and researchers produce an effective vaccine.
  • For God to use Congress to find a quick solution to the COVID crisis
