First Lady Releases Public Service Announcement

She expresses hope in the return to normal.

First Lady Melania Trump appeared in a new public service announcement about the coronavirus.

“I want to speak with you abut coronavirus and what it means for you and your family,” she said.

“While changes need to be made now, this is not how we’ll live forever. Our children will return to school, people will return to work, we will gather at the places of worship, concerts, and sporting events again.”

She said, “I urge you to stay connected to family and loved ones through the video chats, phone calls, social media and other safe technologies. Stay safe! And remember, while many of us are apart, we are all in this together.”

Her video reinforced the message of the Administration guidelines, and was made in partnership with several major media outlets aimed at reducing the panic in America and educating the country about the pandemic.
