President Signs Three Bills into Law

Bills expand various federal programs

On Tuesday President Trump signed three bills into law.

House Joint Resolution 80 gives a waiver to the Department of Veterans Affairs to refer certain veterans for dental care in the community under a newly created pilot program that seeks to expand dental care for veterans.

Senate Bill 394, known as the “Presidential Transition Enhancement Act of 2019,” allows the General Services Administration to make changes regarding how it provides services and facilities to newly elected presidents and vice-presidents in order to make the transition smoother.

Lastly, Senate Bill 2107, known as the “Protecting America’s Food and Agriculture Act of 2019,” gives the U.S. Customs and Border Protection the authority to hire additional agricultural specialists, agricultural technicians, and canine inspection teams to improve the security of the Nation’s food supply.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump to have wisdom on which laws to sign in the future.
  • That the Senate would be guided by God on the best laws to put in place.
  • For these new laws to improve the quality of life in the U.S.
