President Donald Trump has set security guidelines for protests at universities that receive federal funding. The administration is particularly concerned about pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel demonstrations which have resulted in Jewish students and faculty being targeted on campuses.
Today is a deadline President Trump’s administration set for Columbia University to comply with conditions and policy changes in order to have $400 million in funding restored and maintain a “continued financial relationship” with the federal government. The conditions include banning masks, granting public safety officers the authority to arrest and remove agitators, and the abolition of the University Judicial Board.
After U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a former Columbia student last week for organizing intimidation campaigns and advocating for Hamas, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “No one has a right to a student visa. … There are kids at these schools that can’t go to class. You pay all this money to these high-priced schools that are supposed to be of great esteem, and you can’t even go to class. You’re afraid to go to class because these lunatics are running around with covers on their face, screaming terrifying things.”
President Trump is expected to visit Trump Tower in New York City to celebrate his son Barron’s 19th birthday today. Barron is a freshman at New York University.

- Spiritual Muscle
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. – 2 Peter 1:3
Do you know your grip strength? You may think it’s of little value to understand how powerful your hands are for carrying groceries or wringing out wet towels but recent studies show surprising results correlating muscle strength with overall health and cognitive function!
Your spiritual vigor does not come from hard work. It is just the opposite. The Bible reveals God as Omnipotent, which means “all-powerful and supreme with no limitations.” He is complete, lacking nothing, needing no form of energy, light, or outside influence. And YOUR power comes from complete dependence upon HIS power. With God as the Source and the Holy Spirit at work in your life, miraculous divine energy enables you to live a victorious life that pleases God and points others toward His great salvation.
As the current administration makes changes to the federal government and people express their opinions about the policies being implemented, remember where the ultimate power resides. God is the one who answers prayers, He heals the broken and restores integrity. Only by acknowledging Him will anyone make a real difference. Intercede for people in office to recognize God’s authority over the universe and their own lives. And be assured, He still has the whole world in His hands, and He still has the power to hold it! Praise Him for that today.
Today’s Verse: 2 Peter 1:3
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,

20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
