The Giver of Life
The National Right to Life Committee released a “Status of Abortion in 2025” that highlights how challenging it is to try and estimate the number of abortions in the U.S., both since the pandemic and the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision in 2022 that returned abortion regulation to the states. Information from abortionists tends to be based on projection rather than real numbers and abortion pill sales do not accurately reflect their usage. Some data suggests that, in states that restrict abortion, there has been an increase in births between 2.3 to 3 percent. In this post-Roe v. Wade era, it is important to continue to pray for the recognition and acceptance, by politicians, healthcare providers, and citizens at large, that human life begins at conception and that people are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26).
