Issue 706 – National Prayer Needs

Additional National Prayer Needs

Pray for America’s Military

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center announced that it is modernizing the B-2A Spirit stealth bomber. Lt. Colonel Robert Allen said that the transmission time of voice communications and data is being improved. The deputy program manager of the B-2 Integrated Functional Capabilities Branch stated, “One of our programs contains over 300-plus software changes to its sustainment software.”

Pray for the generals and managers as they collaborate on updates and improvements to military aircraft. Pray for the safety and diligence of the pilots and crew of all U.S. Armed Forces planes and helicopters.

PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE

Russia launched its largest aerial assault thus far on Saturday, with 537 aerial weapons sent to attack Ukraine, including 477 drones and decoys and 60 missiles. Ukraine’s air force reported that 249 were shot down and 226 were lost after possibly being electronically jammed. U.S. Defense Secretary Hegseth paused a shipment of missiles and ammunition to Ukraine after a review of the levels of U.S. stockpiles.

Pray for U.S. ambassadors as they continue diplomatic efforts for peace between Ukraine and Russia and for wisdom for Secretary Hegseth as he pauses military aid.

Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL

President Trump announced a “final deal” that has been approved by Israel that is being extended to Hamas. He stated he wants to get the remaining hostages back from the terrorists. The president said, “I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE.”

Pray for President Trump, and U.S. and Middle Eastern officials as they press for a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.

Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, comprised of all new members, has recommended the removal of thimerosal from flu vaccines. The mercury-containing preservative, used to prevent contamination in multi-dose vials, is under investigation for a potential link to autism and ADHD. The panel recommended a single-dose influenza vaccine without thimerosal for children 18 years and younger, pregnant women, and all adults.

Pray for HHS Secretary Kennedy and the new ACIP members as they review and update vaccination guidance.

Pray for Needs Across the States

A lawsuit was filed against Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray and the state’s 23 county clerks to stop an election law from going into effect on July 1. The law would require individuals to provide proof of state residency and U.S. citizenship when they register to vote.

The Nebraska Attorney General sued the Chinese-based company Temu for violating American consumer protections. The attorney general alleged that the retail platform’s app, which provides inexpensive items that are manufactured in China, operates as malware that lifts users’ sensitive information. The site also supports counterfeits and copycat items that infringe on copyrights and intellectual property.

Pray for state officials as they seek to protect their residents from the collection of information by foreign governments.

Pray for America’s Faith Community

“Abraham and Moses were famously called friends of God. It was written that King David was a man after God’s own heart. These descriptions and the results of their lives should inspire all of us to love and seek God with all our heart. It was not that these men were unique, but God became the passion of their lives.
In John 15:14, Jesus announced that His disciples were His friends provided they kept His commandments.
It would be wise to daily approach God by praying, ‘I am Your friend happily obeying your commands. I want to be known as a person always seeking after Your heart. Your Son even prayed that I would be one with You. In this light, I pray as did Isaiah, “Here am I. Send me!“ What assignment will You give me today?‘“ Pastor Ron Susek, FaithWalk Radio, June 2025
