FBI Operation Results in Arrest of 244 Child Predators, Frees 109 Children

Seizes terabytes of digital evidence of child sexual abuse material

The Dallas Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced this week that they have detained 244 child sex predators and rescued 109 in an operation combating online child sex exploitation. Over 70 law enforcement agencies in Texas worked to identify where perpetrators of online child pornography were filming, producing, and uploading their materials, seizing terabytes worth of criminal videos by the end of their mission.

FBI Dallas Special Agent in Charge Joseph Rothrock said, “Operation Soteria Shield brought together over 70 agencies from across the state of Texas, including police departments, federal agencies, state and federal prosecutors, children’s advocacy centers, and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.”

He continued, “This was not an easy operation, but a necessary one. The FBI and our law enforcement partners will continue to protect the children in our communities, and we will hold child predators accountable for their crimes.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Director Kash Patel to be discerning as he heads the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
  • For federal, state, and local law enforcement as they seek to prevent child exploitation and rescue children from human traffickers.
