Administrator Loeffler urged the California governor to request disaster aid for small businesses impacted by looting and rioting.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) recently announced it would relocate its Los Angeles office due to the city’s refusal to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
“Los Angeles is openly refusing to cooperate with ICE – siding with illegal aliens over American citizens and small businesses. Therefore, effective immediately, [the Small Business Administration] will begin relocating its Regional Office out of L.A.,” SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler stated. “If a city won’t protect its people, we won’t stay.”
The administrator also urged California Governor Gavin Newsom to submit an SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Declaration to allow her agency to immediately help small businesses that have been impacted by the riots in Los Angeles.
Administrator Loeffler stated, “The migrant mob has looted stores, destroyed storefronts, and committed criminal acts of vandalism against our small businesses. … Federal partners are ready to help American citizens rebuild – and we will do so, as soon as the Governor answers their call for help.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Administrator Loeffler to be led by God as she oversees the Small Business Administration.
- For Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass to be responsive to the needs of LA residents and small businesses.
- For the protection of the National Guard and Marines who continue to provide support for local law enforcement.
