President Joins Senate Minority Leader at Event

Bipartisan leadership highlights new bridge connecting Ohio and Kentucky.

President Joe Biden joined Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday at an event highlighting a state-level investment made through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The law allocated $1.64 billion in funding for the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project, which will build an additional bridge and rehabilitate the current bridge connecting the states of Ohio and Kentucky across the Ohio River. The federal leaders were also joined by Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.

“This project will not only ease the traffic nightmare that drivers have suffered through for years, but it will also help ensure that the movement of the supply chain doesn’t stall on this nationally significant corridor,” Governor DeWine said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and his administration as they seek bipartisan solutions to issues addressing the nation.
  • For Minority Leader McConnell to seek God’s wisdom as he fills his role in the Senate.
  • For the governors of Ohio and Kentucky as they work together to facilitate the infrastructure project.
