Christine Wormuth Nominated for Army Secretary

She served as Pentagon policy chief during the Obama administration.

The White House announced its first military service secretary nomination—Christine Wormuth to serve as Secretary of the Army. She served two years as the undersecretary of defense for policy during the Obama administration before moving to become the director of the RAND International Security and Defense Policy Center.

She would be the Army’s first female secretary and assume leadership at a time of transformation in the service as it reorients itself toward the Indo-Pacific region to keep up with China’s aggressive military technology investments.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Christine Wormuth as she faces the Senate Armed Services Committee for her confirmation hearings.
  • About the rapid changes being made in today’s military, both in keeping up with challenges of dealing with foreign nations, and in their social engineering schemes.
