Vice President Receives First Vaccine Dose

The second lady and surgeon general were also vaccinated.

Multiple TV channels broadcasted Vice President Mike Pence receiving the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Friday morning. Second Lady Karen Pence also received the vaccine. The public ceremony announced the release of the coronavirus vaccine to the American public, which will be distributed first to front-line medical workers heading pandemic relief.

After he received the vaccine via shot, Vice President Pence communicated his trust in the Pfizer vaccine. “Karen and I were more than happy to step forward before this week was out to take this safe and effective coronavirus vaccine that we have secured and produced for the American people. It’s truly an inspiring day.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Vice President Pence as he heads the White House Coronavirus Taskforce into the next phase of combatting the pandemic.
  • That frontline health care workers would be given these vaccines as soon as possible.
  • That the president’s administration would be able to spur on future recovery from the coronavirus.
