Secretary Turner said his department is “increasing transparency, strengthening program integrity, and rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse.”
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced the launch of the Public Housing Authority (PHA) Accountability Dashboard. The new platform is expected to help eliminate fraud and bring greater accountability and transparency to federal housing programs. Members of the public can use the new PHA Accountability Dashboard to access performance and funding data.
“HUD has been committed to increasing transparency, strengthening program integrity, and rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse,” said Secretary Scott Turner. “Every family and individual in federally assisted housing deserves a safe home and a well-managed housing authority.”
The secretary added, “The PHA Accountability Dashboard will provide the public with a clear view of service quality, reinforcing public trust and ensuring PHA performance is held to the highest standard.”
