Issue 776- National Prayer Needs

Additional National Prayer Needs

Pray for America’s Military

The U.S. Navy awarded a $25 million contract to begin the deployment of AI-powered sensor fusion on warships. The Intelligent Perception System (IPS) will initially be installed on five Arleigh Burke-class destroyers. The technology will pull together data from cameras and sensors, synthesizing the information into a single coherent picture for sailors, and transmit the data to shore. The system is also expected to help prevent collisions.

Pray for Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao and other military branch leaders as they integrate AI and other emerging technologies into vessels and equipment.

Pray for America’s Foreign Relations

Polish President Karol Nawrocki returned to Warsaw last week to address a constitutional crisis that erupted as he was flying to Senegal. Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal suspended its president, Bogdan Święczkowski, as Prime Minister Donald Tusk claimed to be restoring judicial independence. Protestors began demonstrating over what the opposition called an unconstitutional power grab. Several Polish diplomats also resigned in protest.

President Trump announced that the U.S. will replace $4 billion in direct military aid to Israel with a new agreement. The president said, “They don’t need it.” Prime Minister Netanyahu has also spoken recently about his nation moving away from direct U.S. military aid. President Trump affirmed Israel’s status as a U.S. ally, saying, “Israel’s our No. 1.”

Pray for U.S. officials as they seek to support allies and negotiate new security, economic, and defense agreements.

Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a Class II recall for Macleods Pharma USA blood pressure medications Olmesartan Medoxomil, Amlodipine, and Hydrochlorothiazide tablets after they failed to meet federal quality standards. The FDA reported that the prescription medication “failed dissolution specifications,” meaning the pill failed to dissolve properly during testing.

Pray for Acting Commissioner Diamantas as he oversees the FDA and its testing and recall of prescription drugs.

Pray for Needs Across the States

A judge on the Michigan Court of Claims issued a temporary restraining order to halt Secretary of State, and governor-elect, Jocelyn Benson from enforcing a rule that all election precincts delete pollbook files within a week of election certification. Federal law requires that this voter check-in information be retained for 22 months. Under the judge’s ruling, election officials will copy their electronic pollbook file onto encrypted flash drives for secure storage as the lawsuit proceeds.

Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy called for an investigation into reports that the second Dan Sullivan listed on the state’s midterm election ballot was recruited as a spoiler to hinder the chances of Senator Dan Sullivan’s election. “We’re compelled to do an investigation on behalf of the people of Alaska,” the governor said. “Our job as executives are to make sure that we can provide our people with an election that everyone could look at it and say that was done with integrity.”

Pray for state governors, secretaries of state, and attorneys general as court cases proceed and investigations are conducted to ensure the integrity and security of the recent midterms.

Pray for America’s Faith Community

“[God] promises all through the Bible that he has got you. He’s holding you from earth all the way to heaven, and he’ll never let go. I’ll never leave you nor forsake you. Promises upon promises upon promises. It’s embedded in the blessing that you have. So don’t be a fugitive because in the blessing is your purpose, your provision, your peace, your pardon, the promises of God, your protection, your perspective, your progress, your purity, your perseverance. It’s all in the It’s all embedded in it.“ – Jonathan Evans, The Faith Walk, “It’s More than a Dream”
