Paraguay Joins State Department’s Pax Silica Declaration

That nation becomes the 26th signatory of the U.S. effort to advance economic, technological, and supply chain security.

The United States welcomed Paraguay as the 26th signatory to the Pax Silica Declaration on Friday. Pax Silica is the State Department’s “flagship effort on AI and supply chain security, advancing new economic security consensus among allies and trusted partners.”

State Department Spokesman Tommy Pigott announced, “Foreign Minister Ramírez signed on behalf of Paraguay at a ceremony at the Department of State in Washington, D.C., alongside Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg, commencing Paraguay’s participation in the initiative.”

The spokesman added, “The United States and Paraguay affirmed their commitment to leveraging Paraguay’s critical minerals and hydropower to build super intelligence infrastructure in the Americas.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Under Secretary Helberg as he fulfills his role in welcoming new partners to the Pax Silica Declaration.
  • For U.S. officials as they seek to strengthen economic, energy, and technological security through relationships with allies.
