Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
The U.S. Army has ramped up its acquisition of drones and recently redesignated its Futures and Concepts Command as the Futures and Autonomous Systems Command (FASCOM). Acting Chief of Staff General Christopher LaNeve said, “We are incorporating autonomous and unmanned systems at every single echelon across the formation… with the force structure to match… including introducing UAS [unmanned aerial systems] and robotics military specialties.”
Pray for U.S. commanding generals and admirals as they oversee updates to technology and the integration of autonomous and unmanned systems.
Pray for America’s Foreign Relations
Libya’s eastern parliament has approved a maritime boundary deal with Turkey that supports Turkish rights to waters where Greece claims rights for its islands. The European Union has rejected the agreement’s allocation of rights. Ankara has opposed an undersea electricity cable project to connect Israel with Cyprus and Europe, and is claiming coordination authority under the Libya agreement.
Authorities in France instituted curfews after riots and violence in Paris, Limoges, Bourdeaux, Grenoble, Nice, Marseille, Lyon, Rennes and Strasbourg. Over 2,000 demonstrators were arrested as vandals broke into stores and government buildings, and set some structures on fire. President Emmanuel Macron declined French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez’s offer to resign after the riots. The Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints are scheduled to play an NFL football game in Paris on Sunday.
Pray for U.S. authorities and diplomats as they engage in security discussions and negotiations with foreign officials.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Environmental Protection Agency launched a study last month to check drinking water for traces of more than 1,400 chemicals, including hormones, contraceptive drugs, pesticides, PFAS chemicals, and the abortion drugs mifepristone and misoprostol. “Americans are concerned about potential unknown pollutants lurking in their drinking water,” said EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin. He said the agency is “committed to getting to the bottom of this, so that Americans can feel confident about the safety of their drinking water.”
Pray for EPA officials as they screen drinking water for chemicals that may potentially impact Americans’ health.
Pray for Needs Across the States
The Wisconsin Election Commission ruled that the state’s 1,800 municipal clerks cannot verify the citizenship of voters through the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database, despite the recent Supreme Court decision approving its use. The commission interpreted a state law prohibiting the disclosure of voters’ personal data to include citizenship status less than three weeks ahead of the midterm election.
The attorneys general of Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, and West Virginia have filed separate lawsuits against OpenAI, the company that runs ChatGPT. The states claim that the technology endangers children, deceives parents, and violates state consumer protection laws. The attorneys general allege that OpenAI has deceptively marketed ChatGPT as safe despite the significant risks posed by its harmful advice and encouragement to engage in dangerous behaviors while pretending to be the user’s friend.
Pray for state attorneys general as they seek to protect children from the potential harm posed by ChatGPT. Intercede for state and local election officials as they regulate and oversee the election process.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“In Luke chapter 16 beginning at verse 19 there’s several very important things that I believe with all my heart the Lord would teach everyone of us whether you are a young person, old person, it doesn’t matter. But the first thing I want to tell you is that there are some people who mistakenly think that this man ended up in that region of Hades, where there’s suffering, is because he was rich. It could not be further from the truth. You see the man did not end up there because he was rich, because the the whole Bible from cover to cover never condemns riches.
In fact, the only ones who do are the communists and the socialists. Abraham, the man of faith, the father of faith, was exceedingly wealthy. Joseph of Arimathea whose brand new tomb that buried Jesus for just for the weekend. He was exceedingly wealthy man. And I can go on and on and on, but you get the point. But what took this man to this miserable region of Hades, and I’m going to explain to you the difference, is because of his greed. It was his selfishness. It was his self-centeredness. It was his self-worship. It was for caring only for himself and nobody else.“ – Dr. Michael Youssef, Leading the Way, October 2026
