Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
The Pentagon is advancing plans to adopt nuclear power at U.S. military installations. A project to install an advanced nuclear microreactor at Naval Weapons Station Crane in Indiana is expected to be completed by September 2028. Under Secretary for Research and Engineering Emil Michael said, “We are unleashing the American nuclear industrial base to ensure our military installations possess the resilient infrastructure required to maintain uninterrupted operations.”
Pray for Secretary Hegseth and Pentagon officials as they seek to advance nuclear microreactors to power U.S. military installations.
Pray for America’s Foreign Relations
Israeli passengers safely returned to Israel after an Omani co-pilot attacked an Indian pilot captaining a Flydubai Boeing 737 Max 8 flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Wednesday. Flight tracking data indicated the plane dropped 14,000 feet in 30 seconds after the co-pilot stabbed the pilot. Passengers breached the cockpit and subdued the attacker, while backup pilots took control of the aircraft, making a safe emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said, “A terrorist… planned to crash a plane and murder the 180 Israelis on it.”
British counterterrorism police arrested 5 men near RAF Fairford, a U.S.-operated airbase 80 miles from London, this past weekend after three suspicious vehicles were reported heading toward the base. Authorities said the men were “arrested on suspicion of preparation of a terrorist act, contrary to section 5 of the Terrorism Act.” Investigators are examining materials recovered from three vans, which were believed to be improvised explosive devices. President Trump criticized the United Kingdom for releasing the men on bail.
Pray for U.S. officials as they engage in security discussions and counter terrorism operations with allied nations.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued guidance last month to address the potential supply gap of neonatal starter parenteral nutrition (PN). The agency explained, “These products provide essential nutrients through an IV to premature and critically ill newborns who cannot receive nutrition by mouth or through a feeding tube.” Acting FDA Commissioner Kyle Diamantas said, “We are working closely with healthcare providers and industry partners to help ensure that vulnerable populations continue to have access to the care they need.”
Pray for Acting Commissioner Diamantas and FDA officials as they work to ensure the IV nutrients are available to vulnerable newborns who are unable to receive nutrition by mouth or through a feeding tube.
Pray for Needs Across the States
North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong joined the governors from Colorado, Montana, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming to send a letter opposing Section 120 of the 2026 Water Resources Development Act, passed by the House of Representatives last month, which would restrict water usage from the Missouri River. The governors stated that the legislation infringes on authority established under the 1877 Desert Land Act. Citing state and federal laws, Governor Armstrong stated, “Neither the federal government nor any individual state gets to tell North Dakota how to use Missouri River water as it passes through our state.”
Governor Brian Kemp recently announced the investment and expansion of Pirelli manufacturing in Rome, Georgia. The Italian tire company opened its U.S. headquarters there in 2002. The governor stated, “For over two decades, Pirelli has been a valued presence in our state, and I’m thankful that our efforts to grow this partnership are paying off with even more jobs for hardworking Georgians.”
Pray for state governors as they encourage the investment and expansion of manufacturing in their states and seek to protect their rights to water usage.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“Jesus tells us in the book of Luke, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow me.’ We hesitate. Yes, I said it. We hesitate. We have no problem denying ourselves when it comes to our children. We don’t have to pray about committing to feeding our children, clothing our children, or spending hours on homework, sports, or playdates. I don’t have to pray about driving the minivan, shuttling my kids from practice to practice, and from activity to activity.
But when it comes to being a disciple of Jesus Christ, we hesitate, we delay, we offer excuses, and quite frankly, some of us choose rebellion. We are living in an age when only a rare minority of individuals desire to spend their lives in pursuit of significance rather than success.“ – Dr. Cheryl Davis, Truth Matters, September 2026
